Sections of two of the most well-used rural roads in the Ashburton District will be upgraded as part of a $2.3 million road rehabilitation contract awarded last week.

CBD Revitalisation

The traffic lights at the corner of Havelock and East Streets are back in action, though one of the signal boxes is only temporary. A smaller short-term signal has been installed on the south-east corner of the intersection so it can be fully open to traffic and pedestrians.
